CWP PARTICIPATES IN MARITIME HUB 2021
On November 9th Xavier Amores, Director of CWP, participated in the round table on innovation projects in the Blue Economy of the Maritime Hub 2021 organised by the Blue Net Cat, presenting the Galatea and Sea4value projects.
The Galatea project finances through vouchers innovative projects that promote digitisation, sustainability and the circular economy of ports, ships, boats, ships’ dredges and maritime surveillance. In the first call of the Galatea, among others, 2 projects of Catalan SMEs were funded: the CORAL project of BGEO and the KTMS project of Inloc Robotics. The desalination sector is included as one of the emerging and innovative sectors of the Blue Economy. One R+D+i project in which CWP participates is Sea4value and its objective is to revalue 9 minerals and metals from seawater brine.
