AquaLoops4Med Open Call

The AquaLoops4Med project is launching its Open Call to support 15 to 18 SMEs through 5 to 9 interregional collaborative subprojects aimed at demonstrating, scaling up, and commercialising innovative solutions for sustainable and circular water management in the agrifood sector.
The call targets technologies and processes that contribute to one or more challenges of the water management value chain in the agrifood sector in one of the following domains:
- Water and wastewater management.
- Irrigation.
- Agricultural practices for water efficiency.
- Gas emissions from wastewater treatment.
Funding framework:
- Total available budget: €850,000.
- Maximum financial support per SME: up to €60,000.
- Subprojects may have a duration of up to 8 months.
Eligibility:
- SMEs must apply as small interregional consortia; single-applicant proposals are not eligible.
- Consortia may consist of 2 or 3 SMEs from at least two different eligible regions.
- Eligible regions: Catalonia (Spain), Basilicata (Italy), Thessaly (Greece), and Attica (Greece).
- The call is open to technology providers and end users (e.g., agricultural farms, food processing industries, or other SMEs in the agrifood sector) contributing to the validation, demonstration, or co-development of innovative solutions.

- Submit your application through the AquaLoops4Med Submission Platform.
Applications must be submitted by February 27, 2026, at 17:00 CET .
