WORKING GROUP WITH ACA ON DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR MONITORING AND SENSORIZATION OF WATER ABOCAMENTS IN WATER TREATMENT PLANTS

Last March 4th a working group was held with the Catalan Water Agency (ACA) to discuss the challenges in the digitization and monitoring of wastewater treatment. The CWP promoted this space of connection between the administration and the companies in order to solve the challenges that are presented in the more than 500 WWTPs in Catalonia.

The meeting, with a strong involvement of the ACA, was also attended by several CWP companies that were able to discuss and share local and international success stories on plant digitization. We had the vision of universities such as the UPC, research centers such as Eurecat and water managers such as  Depuradores d’Osona, DAM and Aigües de Catalunya. We also counted with the participation of companies with both sensory and digital solutions including Createch360º, Adasa, S::can, Hach, ABB, Lacroix, Spin, Disibeint, Sensotec, FTR, Aonchip and AEM.
