MORE THAN 50 PARTICIPANTS IN THE WEBINAR ON INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS EFFICIENCY
On 18 February, the CWP and ZINNAE organised a webinar on innovative solutions for efficiency in irrigation systems. The event was attended by more than 50 participants, including members of the two clusters and experts from the sector. The session was opened with the welcome of Mr. Oriol Anson, General Director of Rural Development of the Generalitat de Catalunya, who presented the subsidies for the efficiency of the irrigation communities and then Mr. José Luis Pérez Gonzalez, President of the CCRR of the Canal Aragon and Catalonia, shared his vision on the needs of the irrigation sector.
Afterwards, two companies from each cluster took the floor to present their technologies. From CWP, Pau Climent, National Civil Works Manager of Renolit, with the presentation “Waterproofing and re-waterproofing of hydraulic infrastructures with flexible sheets” and Raül Valls, Smart Technologies Manager of Regaber (MatHolding), who explained the Total Channel Control technology for the optimised management of water channels. On behalf of ZINNAE, Jesús Ibánez Pereda, CEO of Spherag, participated with the presentation ‘Turn your farm into a digital and intelligent installation’ and Javier Bernad Vela, Founder and Environmental Director of Velaber Consulting, who presented innovative solutions to minimise the impact of invasive species in irrigation systems.
Given the public’s interest in the subject matter presented, it is expected that more webinars on irrigation will be organised in the coming months.
