MEETING WITH THE DUTCH WATER ALLIANCE – GET IN TOUCH WITH THE NETHERLANDS

Last Tuesday 10th of November at 11:00 a.m. CWP together with the Dutch water cluster, the  Water Alliance, held a virtual session to get to know the water markets both in Catalonia and in the Netherlands. Sixty companies from both clusters registered for a virtual session to present the two markets and 3 companies from each cluster, followed by a virtual matchmaking session between the 10th and 13th of November, where the registered members had the opportunity to schedule B2B meetings with the aim of finding business partners or international collaborations.

From the CWP, the cluster manager Xavier Amores presented the CWP and the water market in Catalonia and then the Project Manager Eric Santos introduced the most important challenges of Catalonia in the water sector, such as digitalisation and the circular economy, among others, as well as the importance of collaborating not only with other sectors that are intensively involved in water consumption, but also in the field of R&D with technology and research centres. On behalf of CWP, Laura Morera (Business Developer of Arpol Unions), Anicet Blanch (CTO of  Bluephage) and Alberto Hernández (Export Manager at ITC Dosing Pumps) were the speakers that the companies Arpol, Bluephage and ITC were able to present their companies and products or technology as well as their interests in the Dutch market.

On behalf of the Water Alliance, Harro Brons International Business Development Manager of the Dutch cluster presented the Dutch water market and some of the challenges of the sector as well as leading technologies for water treatment.
