EL PROJECTE INAPDRON INVESTIGA SOBRE L’APLICACIÓ DE DRONS A LA DETERMINACIÓ DE L’ESTAT DE XARXES I CANONADES D’AIGUA CRUA, POTABLE I RESIDUAL.

The INAPDRON project is a collaborative innovation project, AEI, funded by Mincotur, which has been carried out under the coordination of the CWP and which over the last months has been working to develop different drone platforms that will serve in a future to determine the state of raw, potable and waste water networks.

Three water management companies have participated in the project, Aigües de Manresa, Aigües de Vic and Depuradores d’Osona, and two technological companies, Hidrotech, a company specializing in pipe cleaning and CATUAV, a company specializing in drone platforms. The first phases of the project consisted of market research and technical development of the different platforms, guided by the needs and requirements of the water management companies. The second phase of the project consisted of testing the products developed in different water management test benches, which allowed us to see the viability of these platforms. In a second step, sensors and cameras have been added to the developed platforms and finally tested in a real environment. It is worth saying that although there are drone platforms that have had a positive response, this project will require more research to finally find an optimal solution for the purpose of the project. A solution that has great applicability and that can represent a great advance to detect the state of the network.
