The CWP visits the Kurita Innovation Hub in the framework of the Strategic Training Week organized by ACCIÓ

The CWP participated in the Strategic Training Week organized by ACCIÓ as part of the Catalonia Clusters program together with 16 other clusters, and which consisted of a visit to Japan, one of the most important innovation ecosystems in the world.

Between the visits, we had the opportunity to meet large companies, research centers and actors related to both the R&D and sustainability fields. The CWP met with the Japan Water Research Center, a non-profit organization that promotes research projects between universities and business, and with several cross-cutting working groups on the country’s main water challenges.

The Japanese Water Works Association represents more than 2,000 organizations, companies and professionals or academics in the Japanese water sector including the Kurita Innovation Hub, a research center to create innovations that solve social and industrial challenges by connecting with customers , research institutions and other stakeholders from around the world to integrate diverse knowledge in water treatment.
