The CWP and a delegation of associated entities have participated in the WEFTEC fair, an international benchmark in the water sector
This week the CWP participated in the WEFTEC fair, the main water fair in the USA. The CWP has organized a round table at the Global Center on October 2 with the session “Technological Solutions for Water Management in Drought Conditions” where Xavier Amores, director of the CWP, was able to make a presentation highlighting the situation of ‘water emergency facing Catalonia. Also the associated entities Bluephage, Createch 360 and Derypol that went to the fair were able to present their technological solutions. The CWP delegation also included Cimico and Waterologies.
The CWP also participated in the annual meeting of the Water Cluster Leaders Forum with water clusters from South Korea, Singapore, Holland, Denmark, Milwaukee or Cleveland among others. Likewise, on October 3 the director of the CWP participated in the panel discussion “Bridging Clusters: Connecting the world of water” organized by the Korea Water Partnership (KWP) and discussed the experiences and successes of the clusters and how to strengthen global relationships between them.
Partners also had the opportunity after the fair to participate in two days of meetings and conferences in Milwaukee, where The Water Council, Wisconsin’s water cluster organized a post-Weftec day focused on innovation, technology and the challenges and management in the water sector in its state and that it has been an opportunity to generate new opportunities among the associates of the CWP.
