3RD WORKING GROUP FOR THE REUSE OF WATER
The third CWP water reuse working group was held on 1 February. We counted with the participation of Mercè Font, ICRA, who lent the SAD SUGGEREIX for reuse schemes, developed within the SUGGEREIX project. Next, Joana Garau, Director General of Water Resources of the Balearic Islands Ministry of the Environment and Territory, explained the role of reuse in the hydrological planning carried out in the Balearic Islands. Next, Vicenç Palmero, NordicWater, presented innovative filtration solutions for water reuse schemes to the CWP reuse working group. Alex Vilá, Aquabona, presented success stories related to the application of ultraviolet light for water reuse. Finally, Lucia Gusmaroli, CWP Project Manager, presented the WAT’SAVEREUSE project, which promotes water saving and reuse in the Mediterranean tourism sector.
