TOURISM AND WATER WORKING GROUP
On 21 September, the first session of the Water and Tourism Working Group was held to promote initiatives related to water saving and reuse in the tourism sector.
Previous initiatives and new opportunities for internationalisation in the USA related to the contract-hospitality sector were explained within the framework of the WellianceHOSPITALITY project. We had the participation of Lorena Abelenda from the Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean, who presented the European project LIFE Wat’savereuse. Within the framework of this project, over the next year meetings will be held with the tourism sector (hotels, campsites, golf courses, water parks) to promote good practices in water management and treatment.
