Last 6th October, Aigües de Manresa organised the 1st Technical Water Conference at the Manresa Exhibition Centre. The aim of the event was to create a shared space where companies, public bodies and research centres could talk about the integral water cycle, share experiences and learn about new developments in the sector.
In the first part of the presentation, Xavier Amores, director of the CWP, introduced the concept of digitalisation in the water sector. Before him, experts in the sector, such as Xavier Martinez Lladó, head of the technological unit of water, air and solids of Eurecat, spoke about Circularity, and Marta Oliveras Vila, senior technician of Public Health of Catalonia, spoke about the Quality of tap water and the new European directive. 6 CWP partners: e-Watts, WE&B, Aigües de Manresa, Lequia and Consorci Besòs Tordera, presented their technologies. And there was a debate on the book Aigua 3.0 a Catalunya, una visió calidoscòpica amb alguns dels seus autors.
