From 19 to 21 June, the Catalan Water Partnership was present at the Singapore International Water Week, one of the world’s leading trade fairs in the water sector. The Water Expo showcased the latest cutting-edge solutions, technologies, products and services for cities, utilities and the water industry.

The Catalan Water Partnership participated with a joint stand in the water pavilion, together with partner companies SigmaDaf and Unex and with the collaboration of Ulbios. During the fair there have also been several occasions to meet with other partners, both exhibitors and visitors, such as Acciona, Keiken Engineering, Bluephage and Dupont.

Participation in SIWW allowed CWP partners to showcase their products and services to a highly qualified audience, including the PUB, the national agency that manages water in Singapore. In addition, companies have had the opportunity to meet potential customers and partners, network with other industry professionals, exchange ideas and experiences, explore potential collaborations and professional alliances, and discover new business opportunities both in Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia. This can open new doors for the growth and international expansion of the Catalan water sector.

For CWP, this has been an important occasion to meet again with international partners, such as The Water Council (Milwaukee, USA), Korea Water Partnership (South Korea), Cleveland Water Alliance (USA), the Water Alliance (The Netherlands), thus strengthening its relations with other water associations around the world. In addition, it has been possible to disseminate some of the European R&D projects currently underway, such as LIFE BiodapH2O and Sea4Value, connecting with stakeholders interested in the progress of these projects.
