CWP – MODACC INTERCLUSTER DAY
The intercluster working session with Modacc on how to improve the water efficiency of fashion products was successfully held on February 16th. Maria José Amores from Cetaqua explained what water waste is and why it is important to measure it, and presented, among other things, the EsAgua Network, the pioneering network in Spain of organisations committed to reducing their water waste. Next, Marta Albet from Anthesis Lavola explained the difference between water consumption and water waste and presented some success stories applied to the sector. Finally, Víctor López from the Environmental Engineering Research Group of the UPC presented different studies on water treatment and reuse applied to the textile industry.
