 Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

ASOCIACIÓN CATALAN PARA LA INNOVACIÓN Y LA INTERNATIONALIZACIÓN DEL SECTOR DEL AGUA, CATALAN WATER PARTNERSHIP with CIF G64862717, number 37542 in the association register and its UdG Science and Technology Park (H2O Building) C/Emili Grahit, 101 (17003 Girona) is RESPONSIBLE for the processing of the USER’s personal data and informs you that this data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April (RGPD), and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5 (LOPDGDD).

Why do we  treat your personal data?

To maintain a commercial relationship with the USER. The planned operations to carry out the treatment are:

• Sending commercial advertising communications by e-mail, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that makes commercial communications possible. These communications will be made by the RESPONSIBLE and will be related to its products and services, or those of its collaborators or suppliers, with which it has reached a promotional agreement. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data.
• Send the online newsletter, about news, offers and promotions in our activity.
• Carry out market studies and statistical analyses.
• Process orders, requests, respond to inquiries or any type of request made by the USER through any of the forms of contact that are made available to you on the website of the RESPONSIBLE.
•  In-house research and development of the products and services we offer.
• Manage the data provided by candidates for a job through the Curriculum Vitae (CV) provided to us for the purpose of the selection and recruitment process.
• We may also use personal information to comply with internal and external audit requirements and in any other way we deem necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law (b) to respond to requests from courts, security agencies, regulatory bodies and other public and government authorities (c) to comply with our legal notice and (d) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or those of others.
• Manage our activities, their administration and the relationship with our associates.

For what  reason can we process your personal data?

 Because the treatment is legitimized by article 6 of the RGPD of the following way:

• With the consent of the USER: sending of commercial communications, of the newsletter and job candidate.

• For the legitimate interest of the RESPONSIBLE: carry out market studies, statistical analyses, etc. and process orders, requests, etc. at the USER’s request.

• Due to legal obligation to audit, both external and internal control and the management of associates.

For how long  will we keep your personal data?

They will be kept for no longer than is necessary to maintain the purpose of the treatment or there are legal prescriptions that dictate their custody and when it is no longer necessary, they will be deleted with appropriate security measures to guarantee the anonymization of the data or the total destruction of them.

  To whom will we provide your personal data?

Your contact details may be communicated to those associates who we consider can better attend to your request or query. No other communication of personal data to third parties is foreseen except for legal obligation or if necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of the treatment, to our service providers related to communications, with whom the RESPONSIBLE has signed contracts of confidentiality and ‘in charge of treatment required by the current privacy regulations.

The rights that assist the USER are:

• Right to withdraw consent at any time.
• Right of access, rectification, portability and deletion of your data, and limitation or opposition to treatment.
• The right to submit a complaint to the control authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the treatment does not comply with current regulations.

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL CHARACTER OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

The USER, by marking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields, expressly and freely and unequivocally accepts that his data are necessary to attend to his request. The RESPONSIBLE will indicate which data are necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. If this data is not provided, it is not guaranteed that the information and services provided will be completely adapted to your needs.

The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the RESPONSIBLE are true and is responsible for communicating any changes.

3. SECURITY MEASURES

That in accordance with the provisions of the regulations in force on the protection of personal data, the RESPONSIBLE is complying with all the provisions of the RGPD and LOPDGDD regulations for the treatment of the personal data of his responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in Article 5 of the RGPD, by which they are treated lawfully, loyally and transparently in relation to the interested party and adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are treated.

The RESPONSIBLE guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the RGPD and the LOPDGDD in order to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS and has communicated the appropriate information to them so that they can exercise them.
