Xavier Amores, director of the CWP, participates in the XIII Spanish Conference on Dams
From the 17th to the 20th of June, the XIII Spanish Dam Conference was held in Barcelona, where all those issues of water regulation and use that are considered to be of particular interest to administrations and public bodies could be debated and analyzed , companies, professionals, universities and research centers.
Considering the current context, two topics of particular interest were mainly discussed: dam and reservoir safety and the role of dams in climate change and the energy transition.
Xavier Amores, director of the cluster, participated as a speaker with the presentation “Open innovation in a context of accelerated change” where he shared open innovation learning carried out by the CWP in different innovative and digital projects. He emphasized that “collaboration between companies, universities, research centers and administrations is essential to face the great challenges of climate change and digital transformation from innovation”.
