WAT’SAVEREUSE: FIRST MEETING IN CATALONIA WITH REGIONAL AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES
On the 6th of July, the Catalan Water Agency organised the first meeting of the LIFE Wat’savereuse project in Catalonia with local and regional authorities. The welcome was given by Lluís Ridao, director of the Catalan Water Agency (ACA). Xavier Bernard-Sans, Director of the Euroregion, presented ” Genesis, supply, partners and objectives of the LIFE Wat’savereuse project” , Jordi Molist, Director of the Water Supply Area of the ACA, presented “Water supply and reuse in Catalonia, current context and future actions and lines of work”. Montserrat Alomà, Head of Institutional Relations and Communication at the ACA, presented “Actions and scope of the LIFE Wat’savereuse project in Catalonia”. Xavier Amores, director of the CWP, presented “The participation of the tourism sector in the LIFE Wat’savereuse project”. Finally, José Jorge Espí Gallart, head of the Sustainable Impact line at Eurecat, presented “What do we expect from stakeholders? Synergies and benefits”. The Costa Brava Consortium and local authorities operating in tourist areas of Catalonia attended the event.
