The CWP meets with German companies and institutions

On 8 April, the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) received a delegation of German companies and institutions from the Rostock region, as part of a reverse mission aimed at learning first-hand about innovation initiatives and good practices in the water sector in Catalonia. The aim of the visit was to establish collaborative links and explore joint opportunities in areas of high strategic interest, such as desalination, digitization of processes and the development of cross-sectoral projects that integrate different industrial areas.

During the meeting, several entities associated with the CWP presented their solutions and experience, including Ecomemb, Aonchip, BACO and Eurecat, which exhibited technologies and services applicable to both local and international markets. On behalf of the CWP, Lucia Gusmaroli, European Projects Area Manager, highlighted two emblematic projects: Sea4Value, focused on the recovery of high-value minerals from seawater, and SmartH2Otel, aimed at improving water and energy efficiency in hotel establishments through innovative solutions.
