The CWP and a delegation of partner entities have participated in the WEFTEC fair, an international reference in the water sector
This week the CWP has participated in the WEFTEC fair, the main water fair in the United States.
Since the CWP, a round table has been organised at the Global Center on 2 October with the session “Technological Solutions for Water Management in Drought Conditions” where Xavier Amores, director of the CWP, was able to give a presentation highlighting the water emergency situation facing Catalonia. Also associated entities Bluephage, Createch 360 and Derypol who have gone to the fair were able to present their technological solutions. The CWP delegation has also had Cimico and Waterologies.
The CWP also participated in the annual Water Cluster Leaders Forum meeting with South Korean, Singapore, Holland, Denmark, Milwaukee, Cleveland and others. On 3 October, the director of the CWP participated in the discussion table “Bridging Clusters: Connecting the world of water” was organized by the Korea Water Partnership (KWP) where the clusters’ experiences and achievements could be discussed and how to strengthen overall relations between the clusters.
The partners also had the opportunity after the fair ended to participate in two days of meetings and conferences in Milwaukee, where The Water Council, Wisconsin’s water cluster organized a post-Weftec conference focusing on innovation, technology and the challenges and management in the water sector in its state and which has been an opportunity to generate new opportunities among CWP partners.
