The approval of a new project of the AEI 2025 Challenges Call increases to 6 the MINTUR projects in which the CWP participates with a total budget of €2.6M
After the approval of five projects, with an overall budget of €1.6 million and a total grant of €1 million from the MINTUR AEI line, the new resolution of the Challenges 2025 line grants the Catalan Water Partnership a new project: the Circulink. This project, coordinated by Smart City Cluster, with the participation of the CWP and AVENTEC, has a total budget of €891,985.
The project promotes a modular digital architecture to apply AI to the analysis and optimization of circular flows of resources (water, energy and materials) in urban and industrial environments. It will be validated with a decision support system that combines digital passports, recommendations and interactive mapping. The tool aims to accelerate the transition to a smart, interoperable and collaborative circular economy.
Overall, the Catalan Water Partnership has six projects approved within the framework of the two AEI 2025 and Challenges 2025 lines, with a total budget of €2.6 million and an overall grant of €1.2 million, consolidating its position as a benchmark cluster in innovation and digitalisation in the water sector.
