SOLUTIONS FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION & SUSTAINABILITY IN MEXICAN HOSPITALITY IN THE FRAMEWORK OF WELLIANCE PROJECT

Last 6th of September a webinar was held on solutions for climate change adaptation and sustainability in the Mexican tourism sector within the framework of the wellianceHospitality project. In the first part of the event, the effects of climate change on tourism with good practices of adaptation and sustainability were presented. This was followed by a brief introduction of the welfare project and the participating clusters. This was followed by a pitching session with the presentation of sustainable climate change adaptation solutions for EU tourism. We had the participation of David Smith, CEO of WE&B, who gave a presentation on the analysis of “Social Networks” for the tourism sector. Finally, virtual meeting sessions were held between actors of the Mexican hotel and tourism sector and European suppliers of sustainable solutions.
