Igualadina de Depuració i Recuperació SL
IDR treats wastewater from the tanning industry jointly and has environmental authorization (with environmental impact declaration) for the activity of purifying industrial and domestic wastewater and managing non-hazardous liquid waste, in the municipality of Igualada.
It is a private treatment plant, owned by tanning companies and other sectors, it processes wastewater from the industry and part of the city’s water.
Its short-term objective is the Construction of a Water Regeneration Station (ERA) and recirculation of water in the associated factories.
