The main objective of the WatEnerWine project is to promote sustainability and efficiency in the use of water and energy in the European wine industry. This initiative has a consortium made up of clusters, technology centers and companies from France, Italy and Spain, the three main wine-producing countries in Europe.
For three years, WatEnerWine will work on several key actions to promote the efficient use of water and energy, the implementation of renewable energy sources and the adoption of innovative technologies in wineries and auxiliary companies in the sector. To achieve these objectives, a collaboration network will be created between clusters, technology centres and business support organisations to facilitate knowledge transfer and promote good practices in sustainability.
