Descripció del Projecte

NEXADA’s vision is to exploit the R&D and innovation potential present at the nexus of water and digitization technologies to respond to the challenges and needs of the food sector related to the sustainable development of this sector (with an approach main to the dairy, sea-industry and beverage subsectors) in terms of its management of the water cycle. The collaboration between the actors of the water and digital sectors must encourage the creation of new innovative solutions that, in turn, will allow food companies to overcome current challenges and barriers to obtain more control and efficiency of the cycle water These improvements will translate into greater savings for companies (both in terms of water and energy, water consumption or reagents) and an increase in sustainability, as well as brand positioning.
NEXADA is a project promoted by three Innovative Business Associations (AEIs) from different sectors and autonomous communities: Clúster Alimentari de Galicia (Clusaga), Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) and Associació d’Indústries de Coneixement i Tecnologia Aplicada d’Euskadi (GAIA) . This initiative receives funding from the call 2022b of the program to support Innovative Business Groups (AEI) of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and is coordinated by the Food Cluster of Galicia (Clusaga).
