The CWP participates in a conference on drought and water saving in the tourism sector
On March 5, the Girona Campsites Association organized a conference entitled “Update on the impact of drought and advice on the reuse and saving of water“, aimed at representatives of the tourism sector. Lluís Sala, head of the supply and regeneration service of the Costa Brava Girona Water Consortium, presented the state of the drought on the northern Costa Brava as well as the latest interventions promoted by the Consortium to reinforce infrastructures and guarantee supply. Lucia Gusmaroli, European projects area manager of the CWP, presented solutions for the saving and reuse of water in the field of tourism and the SMARTH2OTEL 3.0 project, led by the CWP, which in its third and final phase is validating innovative solutions in the field of integrated water and energy management at the Hotel Samba in Lloret de Mar and at the Les Medes Campsite in l’Estartit.
