The CWP participates as a moderator in the round table “Integration of space in water management” of the NSEC 2024

On October 1 and 2 took place the New Space Economy Congress 2024 organized by the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona and the Generalitat de Catalunya with the support of different partners and collaborators with the CWP. The aim is to convert Barcelona, for two days, into the center of the new spatial economy that will allow us to connect and understand the business opportunities that the sector provides in areas such as sustainability, our new manufacturing systems, our new business models, sustainable mobility and new investment opportunities.

On October 1st, the focus was on those topics intrinsically related to space. The current context of the drought that has generated a water crisis in Catalonia has led to the fact that the second day of the congress was focused on how spatial technologies can help in water management. Jordi Cros, president of the CWP, participated as a moderator in the roundtable “Integration of space in water management” which was made up of representatives of some entities associated with the cluster such as IRTA, EarthPulse and Aigües de Manresa in addition to the satellite company Planet.
