The University of Barcelona’s Institute for Water Research (IdrA), as an organisational structure for research, aims to give greater stability to the activities carried out by research groups in matters related to water, its management and its use and quality. IdrA fosters and promotes the interdisciplinary experiences developed by its more than 100 researchers, who belong to 19 departments from 9 UB faculties (Fine Arts, Biology, Law, Economics and Business, Pharmacy, Geography and History, Physics, Geology and Chemistry). IdrA researchers belong to UB research groups, 36 in total, with research lines related to water.
