Descripció del projecte
CWP has a stable working group to promote new cooperative and business development projects by CWP members in the tourism sector. In this sense, CWP members are currently working on R&D projects, such as the DEM UAE MED, a WATER INNO&DEMO project of more than 5.8M€ to test innovative technologies in a hotel in Lloret de Mar, a R&D project has been approved by the MINISTRY for several CWP members to cooperate on a new purification and vertical wetland system applicable to the tourism sector, have recently presented a LIFE+ applied to the tourism sector and are working together with representative agents of the tourism sector of the Costa Brava to improve its competitiveness by means of water conservation and efficiency policies and how this can be a way to attract new audiences that are more aware of sustainability.
They recently co-organised a conference in Palamós on the challenges of the tourism sector in water treatment and a conference with the tourism sector of the Balearic Islands in Mallorca with the participation of several CWP members. CWP is actively participating in initiatives such as the Tourism Community in the framework of RIS3CAT.
At the moment the CWP has more than five initiatives underway among various partners to promote new projects and initiatives with the tourism sector.
