EMATSA
Empresa Municipal Mixta d’Aigües de Tarragona (Ematsa) is a commercial company of the Tarragona City Council and the AGBAR Group that has been managing the integral water cycle in Tarragona for 40 years.
Currently, a team of approximately 130 professionals provides their services to a population of approximately 145,000 inhabitants and maintains among its main challenges to continue working for the consolidation of excellence in the management of the urban water cycle.
Ematsa includes in its activity, the management of the integral water cycle of Tarragona and Canonja, while also supplying drinking water to Pallaresos and Catllar. On the other hand, it also manages the wastewater of Altafulla, Constantí, Catllar, Riera de Gaià and Pallaresos.
